Set it and forget it with automatic Recurring Payments. Recurring Payments are monthly payments that are processed once a month on your selected date using your primary payment method. To set up your monthly Recurring Payments, follow the steps below:
- From your dashboard, click on the Payments tab at the top
- If you don't have a primary payment method yet, click on the Set Up Primary Payment Method button and either select an existing payment method or Add a New Payment Method and fill out the details accordingly, as your recurring charges will be processed with this method
- Click Set up Recurring Payments
- Select your next recurring billing date (you will be charged on this date every month–e.g. 1st of the month) and enter your charges accordingly
- Click Save
Once you save your recurring payments, your account will be Pending.
If you save your billing date on the last day of the month, it will be processed on the last day of the month given (e.g. May 31st, June 30th, July 31st, etc.).
If you set an end billing date, your automatic payments will be disabled on that day. If your end billing date is the same day as their recurring billing date, the payment will be processed and then the payments will be disabled.
Note: Some property managers prefer their tenants to be on recurring payments to avoid late fees, but recurring payments are not required by RentMoola. Please discuss with your property manager to avoid late penalty fees. Late fees are charged by Property Managers in certain cases and not by RentMoola. Check your rental agreement for details.
