RentMoola cannot stop or cancel a payment that has already been processed. For bank (chequing/checking) account payments, If the funds have not yet been debited from your account, you can contact your bank directly and request a stop payment. Your bank may charge you a fee to do this. RentMoola is not responsible for any fees charged to you by your bank.
If you have just made a payment you didn’t mean to, scheduled a payment for a wrong day, or want to edit your recurring payments, please follow these instructions:
One Time Payments
If the funds have been debited from your account and you would like a refund, you will need to request a refund from your property manager. Find our refund policy here.
If you have scheduled a payment and no longer wish to pay it on that future date, scroll down to your Transaction History on your home dashboard and find your pending payment there. Under actions, it will say Stop Payment, click this and the payment will no longer be scheduled to process. If the payment has already processed, please refer to the above.
If you have set up recurring payments and need to skip, disable, or edit the day that it will process the transaction each month follow these steps:
- From your home screen, go to the Payments Tab at the top
- Your recurring payments will be outlined in a box on this page, at the bottom of this box it will say Skip, Disable, or Edit.
- Click the Skip Payment to skip only the very next payment you have.
Note: Any edits to your Recurring Payment details will move your account into a Pending Approval state for your Property Manager to approve the changes.
