Debit card
A debit card operates like a credit card. If your Debit card has a Visa/ MasterCard logo on it, it would be considered as a Visa/ MasterCard Debit.
Bank Account
Using your bank account is our paperless cheque. For bank account payments it can take up to 5 business days for your bank to process the movement of funds from your account. However, your property manager will be notified immediately once you have initiated a payment, therefore ensure to have sufficient funds available in your bank account during this time frame.
Bank account includes banking details such as:
- Canadian tenants: Institution number, transit number, and account number.
- American tenants: Routing number and account number.
