As a property manager, you can create or invite a tenant to use Letus. See the difference between both below:
- Invite tenant: Send an invitation to create an account so the tenant can begin paying rent online. Email address is required to proceed.
- Create tenant: Set up tenants’ accounts on their behalf. The tenant will simply need to confirm all information is correct and the account will be completed. Email address is optional*
*however, the resident will not receive the payment receipts that are typically sent by email. They will also not be able to log in to their account without an email address.
To Invite a tenant: To invite log-in to your Letus account and follow the steps below:
- Click on Tenants in the top navigation bar
- On the Tenants page, click +Onboard Tenant
- On the pop-up window, click Invite Tenant
- In the Invite Tenant pop-up, fill out the tenant’s information
- Review the information, then click Invite Tenant
The tenant will receive an email invitation to complete their account and set up a password so they can start paying.
Note: if you do not use integrations (such as Yardi) to track tenants, and their transactions, charges, balance, and properties, Account ID is optional.
